National Museum of the Marine Corps

We went to the Marine Corp museum
outside of Washington D.C.. This was
a great museum. They portrayed each war that
the Marine have fought. We spent 4 hours there and
the kids could have stayed longer.
Here they are with some Marines in "active" duty.

St. John's Church

We went to St. John's Church in Richmond, where
Patrick Henry gave his famous "Give me Liberty,
or give me death" speech in March of 1775.
These were the men that played Thomas Jefferson, George Washington,
and Payton Randolph. There were 11 men portrayed
during the reenactment. It was great to see
how the revolution against England started.
This church dates back to 1741 and is still
a active Episcopalian Church.
On the church grounds is this cemetery.

A Day at Kings Dominion

Natalie and her kids came for her "annual" summer
visit. So we did tons of fun stuff together while they were here.
I was able to get complimentary tickets to Kings Dominion
for all of us so we all headed to the park
for a great day.

We had Casey's baseball party at our house.
The boys had fun hanging out together off
the field.
Casey loved his big trophy!

Casey and these boys have been playing baseball
together for the past 4 seasons. They really enjoy time off
and on the field together.

Colby's baseball team was undefeated this year.

Great job Colby!

Casey's #1 fans!
Casey's other #1 fans.

Casey's team went UNDEFEATED for his regular
season this year.
Play-offs start this week. So I'll keep you up to date.
He pitched great this year. We are really proud of him.

Riley Graduates from 5th Grade

Riley and his best bud Jacob.
It is hard to believe Riley has graduated from
elementary school. It feels like yesterday I
was putting him on the bus for kindergarten.
Where does the time go?
He has had a great group of friends since 2nd grade.
These boys have played baseball, football and basketball
together for the past 4 years and have usually been in the
same class. This is most of the gang and their teacher.

This was one of his favorite teachers! Mr. Bergie the
Gym teacher! What boy does not love his gym teacher!
Steve's parents came to the graduation!
