Republican Convention

I was able to participate as a Delegate in the
Virginia Republican Convention this year. I was so excited
to be a part of this. This is the stage behind me. It was
just like a National Convention, but a smaller scale.
Sean Hannity came and spoke and that was really cool.
As a delegate, you vote for who you want to represent
the republican party on a state level. We were choosing our Governor,
the Lt. Governor, and the Att. General.

This is one of my "political" friends I went with.

is the Minority Whip.

A Tribute to Duke!

On Friday, May 22nd our beloved dog Duke
left this world. This is a tribute the BEST dog ever!
Steve hated when I put this sweater on him.
He died a happy dog that was loved by all of us!
He was our companion and took care of us.
We miss you Duke!

Happy Memorial Day Grandpa!

This posting is dedicated to my 86 yr old grandpa Fred for
his service to this country! He is a veteran of World War 2 and
lost his right arm at the age of 21 in the Battle of the Bulge.
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE AND SACRIFICE GRANDPA!

Busch Gardens with a lot of 5th Graders

Riley's 5th grade went to Busch Gardens for the
day as a field trip. This was the new ride that his
entire class rode at one time. I'm sitting next to his teacher.
Who says moms can't have as much fun as the kids.

a great group of kids.

What a great way to end the day but with a HUGE
ice cream! I had a blast hanging out with Riley this day.
We don't get to do that very often.
